The ambition of the first flagship store in the UK aims to reflect Valextra’s excellence legacy while looking at a contemporary interpretation of its values. Through an intervention matching the flavour of an historical building in Mayfair - previously hosting an antiques shop – with the twist of a fresh structural restoration, the new store will engage the past and the present.
Sophisticated in its approach to creativity, POST-OFFICE, mixes the rigorous versatility and high-hand expertise of Valextra with its peculiar integrity and orientation towards clean and clear statements. To frame out the new Mount Street shop, a simple material such as MDF has been extensively used to create a unexpected sculptural wall emphasising the powerful presence of Valextra products: cut, polished and laminated it creates an alluring and intricate grid to display the range of contrasting colourful bags, creating an abstract axonometric immersive landmark.
